Cleaning a bulk phone list before verification
Garbage in, garbage out. Cleaning the list first means fewer invalid rows, no duplicate charges, and results you can actually trust.
1. Consolidate your columns
One phone number per row, one column. If you have multiple phone columns, pick the primary contact number — or run the list twice with different columns mapped.
2. Normalize and deduplicate
Format every number to E.164 and remove exact duplicates. phoneveriflo does this automatically at preflight and only charges for unique, valid records — but cleaning first keeps your export tidy.
3. Run a preflight before you commit
Preflight separates invalid rows, duplicates, eligible cache hits, and fresh checks — and freezes a quote. You approve the quote before anything is submitted upstream.
4. Review and export
Every field the verifier returns for a row is flattened into its own CSV column (blank when it does not apply), so nothing is hidden inside a JSON blob. Export the canonical CSV from your job page.
